DIVERSITY & INCLUSION

Remember you are not alone:

Anyone can experience abusive behaviour from a partner, ex-partner, or family member regardless of age, race, sex, sexuality, gender identity, class, culture, disability or lifestyle.  At Calderdale Staying Safe we understand that people experience abuse and violence in different ways and that there are many barriers that can prevent people from accessing help when they need it.

We work hard to support people to overcome any barriers they face and are happy to advocate on their behalf with other agencies.

We are an experienced, skilled, and diverse staff team who are passionate about what we do. We believe it is really important to reach out to anyone living in Calderdale who feels isolated and has no-one to support them.  We offer an inclusive service and provide sensitive support without judgement.

Our staff speak a number of community languages and if we don’t have the language skills required we will make every effort to find the right language support through appropriate interpreting services.
